WHO WE ARE?
Cooloolabin Hall Back In The Day
The Cooloolabin Hall Association own and operate the historic, rural, Cooloolabin Hall. It was first established in 1917 by the original settlers of the area. They were mostly woodcutters and farmers who needed a suitable venue for a wide range of community activities.
Over the years, the local community have maintained and improved the facility to keep up with the changing requirements of the times.
While taking care of the hall and its surrounds, they have fastidiously preserved the heritage character of the earlier building.
Today it is used for hosting valued local community gatherings, and for events such as weddings or social functions.
WHERE ARE WE?
Our hinterland venue is located just eight kilometres west from the thriving and very popular town of Yandina, on the Sunshine Coast. It can be found by taking the picturesque Cooloolabin Road, which passes through sections of Mapleton National Park and a variety of farmland.
When you reach the elevated “village” area of Cooloolabin, you have lovely views back to the coast from this northern end of the Blackall Range.
